| National Board of Examination (NBE), New Delhi has granted accreditation to Prathama Blood Centre, Ahmedabad for three years DNB degree in Transfusion Medicine vide letter no. ACC/GUJ/PBC/TR.MED/05/7430 dated 25th January 2005. This is the first Institute in India where the DNB course in Transfusion Medicine would be started. The Diplomate qualification awarded by the NBE is equivalent to the postgraduate degree of any Medical college or University. The rules for admission are the same as for any other subject with NBE. There are two posts available for 2005 session. |
| Admission to DNB degree course (July 2005 session): |
| The interested candidate can send their application to the Prathama Blood Centre on or before 23rd July 2005. This application form can be downloaded from this site. There would be a test on MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) pattern having four responses and mainly from specialty concern. Entrance test will be held in the premises of Prathama Blood Centre on 23rd July 2005 at 10.00 AM. Please report at the reception of Prathama Blood Centre at 09.00 AM. Time limit for the written test shall be of 90 minutes, followed by an interview. Admission would on merit only. The first two candidates of the merit list in this entrance test would be eligible for the admission. Rest of the qualifying candidates shall be put on the wait list. |

| Rs. 1000/- should be paid by Demand Draft, in favour of “Prathama Blood Centre”, payable at Ahmedabad. |

| Results would be declared within seven days of the entrance test. |
