Under the able leadership of the Committee members, Chairman Shri Shantilalbhai of Maskati Market, Shri Ratibhai of New Cloth Market, Shri Upendrabhai, Secretary of Maskati Kapad Market and Shri Nitinbhai, Secretary of New Cloth Market the mega drive is organized on this day. Member of both the markets and Ambassador of Prathama Shri Sunil Agarwal took the lead to mobilize mass donations in the mega drive and made it a record success with 651 donations an all time record collection. All the committee members actively participated in the drive which went on morning 9 am to evening 9pm at New Cloth Market premise.
The voluntary blood is donated to the service of poor and needy patients across various hospitals in Ahmedabad with the help of Prathama Blood Centre.
