Most hospitals in the city give discounts to our regular Blood Donors, in case they need to be admitted in hospital.

Discount by Physicians
  In addition, many leading physicians of Ahmedabad give up to 30% discount in consulting charges, when donors visit them. All of them agreed to help regular Donors by giving 30% discount.
Prathama's donor recruitment criteria are very stringent and many donors are deferred at the time of blood donation. Donors, those are deferred for anemia or mild hypertension can also consult these physicians for consultation or treatment.

Blood Test Report
When a Donor donates blood, his blood is tested for five diseases. These are HIV 1 & 2, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Malaria and Syphilis. Blood is also tested for his blood group. These testing reports are sent to all the Donors by post. If a Donor is found positive for any of these diseases, he is called at Prathama and our Transfusion Specialist doctor advises him accordingly.
